Overview

The Tire Industry Taxonomy is the structural backbone of RadialAdvise and RadialScope: a 189-item classification framework that organizes the entire global tire and rubber value chain into nine major categories, from tire products by type through sustainability and regulatory tracking.

Each category breaks down further into sub-categories and individual report titles, giving every study a fixed coordinate within the wider ecosystem. Passenger car, SUV, commercial truck and specialty tires sit alongside construction and material science: run-flat and airless tire architecture, natural and synthetic rubber, carbon black and silica, curing presses and tire building machines, retreading and TPMS services, OEM and replacement distribution channels, embedded sensors and self-healing compounds, and the full spread of EU, US, Indian and Chinese regulatory regimes.

Every entry in the taxonomy carries a defined scope, a segment tag for cross-study comparison, and an indicative market size in USD billions, so any single report can be benchmarked instantly against the categories around it. This is the same framework our analysts use to scope client engagements, from a single sub-segment deep dive to a full value-chain assessment.

Below is a live excerpt of the taxonomy. The first ten entries are open for review; the full 189-item dataset, with current market sizing and segment detail, is available to clients through RadialScope.
